Life Coaching is basically a great way to change your life.

Working with a Life Coach is similar to working with a personal trainer, or fitness coach – except it’s your WHOLE life that’s being toned-up!

What a Life Coach does is to help you identify what you would like to be, do or have in your life.

They will then work with you to set these as ‘Goals’, or ‘Outcomes’ and agree a plan of action as to how you will achieve them – and by when.

The Life Coach’s role from there is to keep you on course towards your chosen Goals, to support you, motivate you and to help you refine the overall picture of your life.

In this way, you begin to live a life that’s authentic, or ‘true’ to you.

A life that you choose.

Life Coaching is positively focussed and results orientated.

Life Coaching ‘systems’ have been created from the most effective and progressive personal development techniques in the world.

Many have been developed from the successful tools and models found in NLP - which you can read more about on this site.

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the Association for Coaching are two of the main Professional bodies that help to regulate Life Coaching in the world, today.

They have been set up by Coaches, with Coaches - for Coaches - and their prospective clients.
