Clare Bates

Clare Bates is a fine art photographer with a successful freelance career of over 20 years. She is Photographic Officer for National Museums Liverpool.

Clare is experienced and specialises in all forms of Fine Art, events and publicity, portrait and wedding photography.

She has produced work for national and international museums, art galleries, stately homes, private trusts including the National Trust, publishers and individual private collectors.

Clare has exhibited and sold her work through various commercial outlets throughout Wirral and Liverpool. She was commissioned to exhibit her collection of work entitled "Liverpool Perspectives" at Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral during their Centenary Year in 2004. She was also commissioned by the Cathedral and the Diocese of Liverpool to document all of its centenary celebrations throughout 2004. This included her being the only official photographer permitted to photograph the visit of HRH Queen Elizabeth II for Royal Maundy and his Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Clare is constantly updating her professional skills and her portfolio of photographic services by attending professional courses and by working with other skilled professionals throughout the photographic, conservation and fine art world.
